My name is Ronda Lynn Drolett, and I’m reaching out for support during one of the most challenging times of my life. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but after a series of medical emergencies, I find myself needing help from my family, friends, and even kind strangers. Recently, I was hospitalized with RSV, respiratory failure, and pneumonia. Just as I was recovering, I experienced severe abdominal pain and was sent to the ER, where, after extensive testing, I received the life-changing diagnosis of colorectal cancer. The tumor is growing into the rectal muscle and needs to be removed quickly, with treatment starting as soon as possible.

On top of this, I suffered a fall that resulted in a fractured ankle, requiring two weeks of rehabilitation and therapy. The physical and emotional toll has been overwhelming, and the financial strain is growing. I will need to travel to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for surgery and ongoing care. This means not only facing significant medical bills, but also covering travel, lodging, meals, and other expenses for myself and the loved ones supporting me through appointments and recovery.

I truly dislike asking for help, but any support—financial, emotional, or otherwise—would be a blessing to me and my family during this difficult time.
