Help Ronald Receive a Life-Saving Heart Transplant
A Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Minister, and Community Barber in Need of Your Support
Our dad, Ronald, has always been the heart of our family and the backbone of our community. He is a devoted husband, father of four, grandfather to five, and a mentor to so many. As a beloved barber, he has been cutting hair for decades, watching his customers grow from kids into adults, always lending an ear and offering wisdom along the way. As an elder minister at our church, he has guided and uplifted countless people, offering love, faith, and support whenever it was needed.
Now, he needs our help to keep fighting.
Recently, Ronald suffered a severe heart attack and has since been battling multiple life-threatening medical conditions, including cardiogenic shock, ischemic cardiomyopathy, and acute respiratory failure. His doctors have determined that he will need both a Left Ventricular Assist Device (L-VAD) and ultimately, a heart transplant to survive.
In addition to these devastating health challenges, Ronald also underwent a leg amputation due to complications from his condition. Despite everything he has endured, his spirit remains unshaken, and his faith is as strong as ever.
Why We Need Your Help
A heart transplant is an incredibly complex and costly procedure, and even with insurance, the expenses are overwhelming. To give Ronald the best chance at a long, healthy life, we need to raise $75,000 to cover:
✔️ Pre-transplant expenses – L-VAD surgery and recovery from his amputation
✔️ Medical costs – Procedures, hospital stays, and specialized care
✔️ Post-transplant medications – Essential for preventing organ rejection
✔️ Travel and living expenses – For medical appointments and recovery
Ronald: A Pillar of Strength and Faith
Ronald is more than his medical condition—he is a father, grandfather, mentor, friend, and spiritual leader. He has dedicated his life to serving others, whether in the barbershop, the church, or simply through the kindness he shows to everyone he meets.
His customers don’t just come for a haircut—they come for his wisdom, laughter, and genuine care. Many of them have been sitting in his chair since childhood, and he has become a father figure to many in the community.
His role as a minister and mentor has impacted countless lives. He has helped guide people through struggles, celebrated their victories, and lifted them in prayer when they needed strength. Now, it’s our turn to lift him up.
Despite losing his leg, Ronald refuses to let it define him. He’s determined to fight for his life, his family, and his future.
