Support Ronald’s fight against Cancer and his growing family.

For those of you who don’t know Ronald, he’s a Groups Coordinator at a local church, but he’s so much more than just a title. Ronald is the kind of person who lights up every room he enters with his contagious smile and larger-than-life charisma.

You’ll often find him at church, whether he’s filming the introduction for Church at Home, praying with a brother or sister in Christ, offering a heartfelt hug, or having a meaningful conversation with someone. He’s a friend, a mentor, and a source of joy to so many.

Ronald’s challenging journey began unexpectedly when he started experiencing persistent chest pain. Concerned it may be a heart attack he visited the urgent care. From there the doctors quickly sent him to JFK Medical Center for further evaluation.

After several tests, a CAT scan would reveal something far more concerning—a tumor, a 5-by-6-centimeter mass in front of his heart.

Despite undergoing three biopsies, doctors couldn’t determine the nature of the tumor. Finally, a fourth biopsy, this time through a surgical procedure. It was required to provide some answers. The diagnosis; Stage 2 Non-Hodgkin’s Large B-cell lymphoma.

Since then, Ronald has continued to be the same beacon of light he is characterized by. Despite undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatments, taking multiple medications, and managing frequent hospital visits.

Unfortunately, the cost of these treatments has been overwhelming and has surpassed the family’s budget, creating a significant financial burden.

Adding to their challenge, Ronald and his wife are joyfully expecting their third child, however, this has intensified the financial obligations they have to meet.

Ronald has been a light, a prayer warrior, and truly a blessing to so many of us, and now it’s our turn to support him in his fight against cancer.
