Support Ronald McDonald House Renovations

My name is Nick and I'm a volunteer at Ronald McDonald House inside Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. Memorial Hermann Hospital at Texas Medical Center has 1,104 beds total and 332 of them are specifically for children and women at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. Ronald McDonald House provides a 'Home Away From Home' for those who have a child that is critically ill and in the hospital. When a child is hospitalized, a family's life turns upside down and sometimes their child can be in the hospital from 2 weeks up to several months. As you can imagine, this is a very stressful time for all.

Ronald McDonald House provides overnight and daytime accommodations for families at no cost to them so they can be nearby their sick child. We also offer family lounges on multiple floors where families can go and relax, grab a snack, coffee, and even enjoy a generously donated meal. In addition to this, during the day upon request, we have nap and shower rooms available for use. Any money donated will be used specifically for renovation purposes and family room improvements. Our lounges are open 24/7 and are used by thousands of families all year round, renovating them would allow us to continue offering families a space for them to relax and encourage more people to come volunteer at RMHC inside Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital.
