Yesterday, we lost our beloved family member and friend to many, Ronald “Ronnie” Burgess of Dayton, Ohio. Ronnie was the kind of person who could strike up a conversation with anyone, and keep it going for hours. Whether he was talking about race cars, semi-trucks, or sharing stories from the good old days, he had a way of drawing people in. He loved to laugh, loved to joke, and most of all, loved making others happy. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Ronald faced health challenges for many years, and while those struggles were difficult, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace. We are especially grateful for the compassionate care he received at the Dayton VA Medical Center. Our family wants to honor his life with a memorial that truly reflects the joy and laughter he brought into the world.
We are asking for help to cover funeral and memorial expenses so we can give Ronnie the tribute he deserves. Any contribution, no matter the size, means so much to our family during this incredibly difficult time. If you’re unable to donate, we ask that you please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers and share this with others. Thank you for helping us celebrate the life of Ronald Burgess.
