My name is Dr Peter, and I’m raising funds on behalf of my dear friend Rona (a Canadian resident), who has suffered a sudden and heartbreaking loss.

Rona’s mother, who was over 80 years old, was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident in the Philippines on Saturday, January 10, 2026, after being struck by a motorcycle.

Rona now faces urgent and overwhelming expenses, including last-minute international travel to the Philippines and funeral/burial arrangements. The total costs are rapidly rising and are expected to exceed $15,000.

Funds raised will be used for:

Emergency flight to the Philippines

Funeral and burial expenses

Documentation and local transportation

Short-term lodging while arrangements are made
