Ron Menser is a devoted father of three and a loving husband to Amber. As a close friend, I’ve witnessed his strength and resilience through unimaginable challenges. Ron’s journey began in 2022 when he was diagnosed with a rare, “benign” cancer called Thymoma in his chest. He bravely underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, and for a while, his cancer responded well and remained stable.
Sadly, in September 2025, Ron’s cancer metastasized to his liver, making his case even more complex and rare for his team of doctors. Despite starting chemotherapy and radiation again, the cancer did not respond and continued to grow. With limited research and information available about this specific type of cancer, Ron’s oncology team is doing everything possible to ensure the best outcome. They have now decided to enroll him in a clinical trial at the National Institute of Health in Washington D.C. Over the next few months, Ron and Amber will be traveling back and forth for treatment, facing new uncertainties and challenges.
These funds will help Ron’s family immensely as they navigate mounting medical bills and travel expenses. There is a possibility Ron will be unable to work during this time, so his family may need extra support to help Amber and their children—Jade (17), Nolan (13), and Roman (11)—through this difficult period. Anything you can do to help Ron and his family would mean the world to us. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference in their lives.
