- My name is Roanie Mims and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my daughter, Romika Mims, a loving mother, sister, devoted wife, and caring daughter whose sudden passing has left her family heartbroken and in urgent need of support. Romika, was the rock of her family. She leaves behind her beautiful daughter who just graduated from high school and preparing to go to college in the fall, a son who recently turned one, and a husband whom was under Romika’s care. Romika gave her all to care for her family, and now they are facing life without her. Emotionally devastated by her unexpected passing her family is not prepared for the cost and changes that lie ahead. We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses, college support for her daughter’s new journey ahead without her mom. This fundraiser is being organized by her father, Roanie Mims who now must carry some responsibility to help Romika’s children through this unimaginable loss.
