Anyone who knows Rome, knows he is the kindest soul. He has been my best friend, and adventure buddy for 6 years. Rome hasn’t been feeling himself lately and his bloodwork showed dangerously high calcium levels. The vet is learning more towards cancer, which makes me sick to my stomach thinking about. I am taking him to Salt Lake City to see specialists that will hopefully be able to pinpoint the specific cause. Hoping for the most positive outcome possible. The vet bills are up to $4,000 so far and are likely only going to increase as I take him to SLC. Any donation helps.

7/23 Update: Rome is in the ICU in Salt Lake for 24-48 hours. The specialists at the hospital will be reviewing his chart in the morning, running tests, and coming up with a game plan.
