Romelle is an amazing medical assistant and my co-worker at Barton Health. In October 2025, she was diagnosed with lung cancer, and since then, she has been bravely undergoing treatment while continuing to work full time. Despite the challenges of her illness, Romelle remains dedicated to her patients and colleagues, showing incredible strength and compassion every day.

On top of her health struggles, Romelle is also a recent widow in her 60s. She faces the emotional and financial challenges of losing her spouse, all while managing the costs of medical care and daily living expenses. The burden of these bills means she must keep working, even as she fights for her health.
