I Survived a Motorcycle Accident — Now I’m Asking for Your Help to Recover❤️‍

Hi, my name is Roman. I’m 33 years old.

Until recently, I was working, building my life, and pursuing my dreams — just like anyone else. Then, everything changed in an instant.

About a month ago, I was riding my motorcycle when a driver suddenly turned left across oncoming traffic, cutting into my lane. She failed to yield — I hit the brakes and braced for impact as it was too close for me to stop.

The collision threw me over 20 feet through the air before I hit the ground. I received multiple open fractures and lost a significant amount of blood on the scene.

Then I was rushed to the "Providence Holy Cross Medical Center" where doctors fought for my life, trying to stabilize me and putting me back together.

After a total of 10 hours spent in the surgery room and having to receive an emergency blood transfusion of 5 units to stabilize my condition - I was transferred to ICU for next 5 days, with both hands, legs and neck wrapped and immobilized.

Having spent a month in the hospital I’m now recovering at a care facility in Northridge, facing multiple serious injuries, knee ligaments surgery and a long road ahead:

Left arm: double fraction in 2 places

Right hand: broken wrist and thumb

Left leg: compound fracture in the thigh and lower leg — both open fractures

Right knee: torn ACL/MCL/FCL ligaments that require surgery

Neck: T2 & T3 fracture

Doctors estimate a minimum of a year for recovery, including multiple surgeries, physical therapy, and full-time care.

Medi-Cal doesn't cover Physical Therapy, nor Occupational Therapy, which I need to get back up and walking.

I’m going through all of this alone — I have no family nearby, and I lost my job due to the accident. It’s not easy to ask for help, but I truly need support to get through this.
