Hello my name is Shonice Gulley and I am raising funds for my son Roman, who has been recently diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma which is a form of cancer. This start off Valentines day weekend, from what we thought was a pinched nerve that turned into an emergency room visit to the Er in Colorado Springs. It was indeed not a pinch nerve as the doctors did a spinal tap and CT scan which later showed a large mass in his upper left chest. Within hours Roman had to be transferred to the Children’s hospital in Denver where he went under a double biopsy so that he could be carefully diagnosed. So now we know after a week of being in the hospital he has High risk neuroblastoma and it is now in his bones. He is actively in pain as we await his port getting put in. Roman is normally a very active and very happy little boy and this diagnosis has affected him to where he tries his best to do normal things but the pain keeps on pushing against his spine. We just want him to get the best care and get back to his normal self as soon as possible. I am a single mother raising him on my own. I need help getting basic things like a stroller, new clothes, in need of a new car in order to get around as we are 5 hours away from home and for now our home is in Denver,Co. Also the goal is to find permanent housing in Denver as we are staying in temporary housing. For work I am a delivery driver but my car is an old model and it is 5 hours away from where we are in need of repairs. I am also a college student at Grand Canyon University, so anything helps as I do have a lot on my plate trying to get Roman through these hard times. Roman will begin chemotherapy soon and it is going to be very hard as he is only 3 years old. Please keep us in your prayers and may the Lord Jesus Christ be with us all in these times. Thank you.
