Hi everyone, I never imagined I’d be in this position, but life has taken an unexpected turn. I was diagnosed with metastatic cancer that spread to my brain and spine. A month ago, I underwent brain surgery, but the tumor returned almost immediately. On top of that, the tumor in my spine is causing unbearable nerve pain down my right leg—some days, I can barely walk.
Now, I’m preparing to start treatment at MD Anderson, fighting for my health and my future. But with medical bills, travel costs, and everyday living expenses piling up, I’m struggling to keep up. This journey is overwhelming, and I need help to stay afloat while focusing on healing.
If you’re able to donate, no amount is too small. And if you can’t, sharing my story means the world to me. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Roman Herrera
Update: 5/25
Due to poor care received and trauma I have moved my care to St Joseph’s Cancer clinic. My team has been nothing short of compassionate and hard working on my case. They make me believe anything is possible and I truly believe with God on my side and everyone’s prayers that I can make it through this. Thank you for everything
