Support Rolison's Fight Against Leukemia

Assalamu alaikum. My name is Rolison Carter and I'm a father of 2 and veteran of the US Army. I served multiple tours throughout the middle east and decorated for my service. Due to injuries sustained from service related injuries I have had numerous surgeries and about a year ago diagnosed with Chronic Myloid Leukemia right after i took my shahadah and reverted to Islam. I believe this is my test in my faith and although i am not faltering in my dedication to Islam i am struggling now with health and support because of family and friends cutting me off due to my new faith. I appeared to be out of the woods and on the road to recovery until recently the cancer has become extremely more aggressive and now having to explore options for experimental treatments and other possible cures outside of what my insurance can or will cover in my area. There are treatment options available for the whats called blast phase I am in and to handle my health now that it's become an acute illness. Without the treatment I won't be alive much longer and will only be able to manage pain while my body slowly shuts down. So with that said I've had to move to dallas texas to the VA medical center which has not only primary care doctors but also oncologist, hematologist, pain management, and much more. The VA has currently suspended treatment which i can only assume is because of politics cause something like this happens every election year. So now my medication and treatment is having to be billed through hospital thats not the VA. The doctors are attempting to help and are amazing but theres no telling how long ill make it without my medications. Without insurance my chemotherapy medication and the pain medication are alot by themselves. Im grasping at straws and dont know what to do and need help while im hoping to be approved by some grants and get Medicare. Please help if you can inshallah and share this to all you know.
