It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father, Rolando Manalastas, who left us on July 27, 2025, at the age of 63.

Our dad, Rolando Manalastas, was the most loving and selfless father we could have asked for. On January 28, he was the victim of a tragic car accident while walking as a pedestrian. He became unconscious at the scene and remained in a coma for six months. His passing was sudden and heartbreaking.

Our dad was truly one of a kind. He was the kind of father whose love didn’t depend on having much—it came from the deepest parts of his heart. Even when life was hard, even when he had nothing to give, he gave us everything he had: his time, his strength, his presence, and his love. He never let his struggles stop him from being there for us. Through every obstacle, he stood strong—making sure we knew we were never alone. He sacrificed so much just to see us smile, to make us feel safe and loved. That’s the kind of man he was. He showed up, no matter what. He loved us without conditions. Whether it was a word of encouragement, a hug, a smile, or just being beside us during the hard times—his love was always felt. He did the best he could with what he had, and to us, that was everything.

We are asking for help to raise $10,000 to cover his funeral and memorial expenses. We want to give him the farewell he deserves—something dignified and full of love, just like the way he lived.
