Support Rola Shammala's Family in Crisis

My name is Dan Kastrul. I'm a US citizen who's deeply concerned about trying to save the lives of innocent civilians in Gaza. Through this process, I've met some incredible people. One of them, Rola Shammala, reached out to me today and asked if I would help her raise money for her family as their situation in Gaza is dire. Obviously, I said yes. While I have been sharing fundraisers created by other sponsors for people in Gaza on social media now since June, 2024, this is the first fundraiser I have created and sponsored.

Please help my friend Rola Shammala, her husband Abdallah H Sh Abusultan, and their four young children, Abood, Tala, Ahmad, and Mhammad survive and make it safely out of Gaza. Rola is a high school teacher. Abdallah is a computer engineer. No donation is too small. Thank you very much!

This is a recent statement from Rola:

"I urgently plead with them to put an end to this devastating war and stop the massacres being committed against us. We are in desperate need of open crossings and the entry of humanitarian aid so that we can protect our children and save their lives.

The situation in Gaza has become unbearable; there is no healthy food, no water, and not even money to sustain our lives. We desperately need their help to get out of Gaza, as the conditions have become extremely difficult. I believe it will take a long time to rebuild Gaza and return to a normal life.

I want my husband to be able to return to his work, and I wish to see my children go back to school like all other children. I feel a deep sadness for them. I also aspire to open my own business and live a normal life—this is all I wish for, just a normal life.

I implore them to heed this humanitarian call, as our lives and future depend on their decision."
