Help Support Roger's Medical Journey and Our Family

Hi, my name is Maranda, and I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my husband, Roger, and our family. In 2021, Roger suffered a severe stroke that required immediate brain surgery. Since then, his health has continued to decline with several smaller strokes, the most recent of which caused dysphagia, making it difficult for him to swallow. This led to the need for a feeding pump, all of which has caused multiple hospitalizations and further stress on our family.

Roger has also undergone an amputation, and the combination of these medical issues has made life incredibly difficult. We’re now facing significant financial hardship as a result of these ongoing health crises.

The costs have been overwhelming. Hospital bills, medical equipment like the feeding pump, medications, and the constant care Roger needs are all adding up. We’ve had to make adjustments to our home to accommodate his needs, and caregiving has become a full-time job for me while trying to care for our children and keep everything together.

Our savings have been drained, and we’re struggling to meet the daily demands of life, let alone the mounting medical expenses. We’re reaching out to you, our friends, family, and community, to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time.
