I'm Pam --Roger is my sister's dog she shares with my mom, he'd been in our lives since 2018. My sister adopted him as a senior dog, but it seemed as he got older, his puppy energy came back in full force. We were happy to see him so lively and playful.

Over the weekend, he started experiencing sudden onset cluster seizures. Eventually, they were so strong, my sister took him to the emergency vet. Long story short, after a few days at a specialized facility, he was given the OK to return home which brought comfort (to all of us, Roger included).

But this didn't last as long as we would've liked.

Last night he experienced facial twitching and more seizures, so my sister took him to the vet. Even though she/Roger were discharged with seizure medication, his symptoms were too aggressive...

After much love and care, my sister and mom had to make the difficult decision to help Roger cross the rainbow bridge. While his health took a sudden turn, they wanted to ensure he was at peace and free from pain.

While our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the love and joy Roger's brought into our lives.
