Working through aches and pains never gave Roger a second thought. In May 2023, the pain became worse and wouldn't go away. He was finally talked into going to the emergency room to figure out what was going on. After numerous tests and scans, our worst fear was found: Pancreatic Cancer.
Since the initial diagnosis, he has undergone numerous rounds of chemo and radiation therapy and constant doctor visits at Lake of the Ozarks, St. Louis, Columbia, and Overland Park, KS. He hasn't been able to work since 2023, and if you know Roger, not being able to do anything is very hard on him. He has spent his life working, taking care of and providing for his family, and doing everything he can to make life easier for everyone else. Even in the middle of the treatments and what seems like constant setbacks, he has been very consistent in still wanting to take care of his family. Instead of just focusing on getting better, he is more worried about making sure his wife is going to be taken care of.
We know that times are tough for a lot of people right now, but even a small donation will help give Roger some peace of mind that his wife will be taken care of and will allow him to focus on his health and beat this cancer! Thank you for helping out a man that truly deserves it!
