Support Roger's Eye Surgery Journey
Donation protected
Our dear friends Richie and Rachel traveled this week to Miami for baby Roger’s first eye procedure. They found an amazing team to take care of sweet Roger, and they will be going back and forth for appointments and care.
We know travel, medical, and monthly bills add up. Please consider donating or sharing to help cover some of these expenses. We’d love to see them get a little relief from that worry so they can focus on their baby’s healing. Anything helps and is beyond appreciated.
Rachel wrote a piece for Roger:
To say that our little fella is tough is an understatement. Roger Hallorann is the strongest baby we know and continues to amaze us. Every challenge he has faced since birth and the ones he has ahead of him are met with bravery, big smiles, and cute growls. This week has been his biggest challenge to date, and he has shined it on.
Roger has a rare eye condition which was originally supposed to be a quick and mild surgery. It turned into several hours of extensive work to remedy his sweet big blue eyes. The doctors did a wonderful job with their care for Roger. When he got into recovery, the medical team commended him for how excellently he responded. We are so grateful that he will soon have some much-deserved relief and be able to do all of the things that he has been missing out on these past seven months. He is resting and recovering in the arms of his parents, who remain in awe at how their son is stronger than they could ever be.
