Hi my name is Amanda. I decided to start a go fundme for my dad Roger because since September 8th he has had to have 3 surgeries and has been out of work.

My father is not a person whom asks for help and has always found a way to make it in life no matter what. He is a former marine and a Reverend at a small one room country church in Virginia. He has 4 grandkids and is the best dad that a girl could ask for.

September 8th we almost lost him. I went to his home and found him on the floor, he had a heart attack and his blood sugar was 31. At the hospital they found he needed to have double bypass pass surgery immediately as soon as his numbers from the heart attack started to come down. At the same time he was retaining fluid due to a prostate issue so he was going to need prostate surgery in the future. So he had his heart surgery and then in February he had prostate surgery and then 2 weeks later he had to have stents put in his neck to open arteries that were blocked.

My father is 77 years old and with all this surgery the recovery time took a Lil longer for him and he has been off work for 7 months but the bills didn't take a break because he was sick. So I am asking all my friends and strangers that have a giving heart to please donate if you can just donate a Lil it would be greatly appreciated. If you cant donate please take the time to pray for my dad. Prayer has been the only thing to get him thru all this.
