I am writing this with a heavy heart but also with hope. My brother-in-law, Roger Bowser, one of the strongest men I know, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 liver cirrhosis. Roger is a devoted husband of 30 years, the proud father of four beautiful daughters, and a loving grandfather.

After spending two weeks in the hospital, Roger has finally been able to return home. Unfortunately, because he worked hard to build a better life for his family and recently started his own plumbing business, he did not yet have health insurance. Now, due to his diagnosis, Roger is unable to work, leaving his family facing overwhelming challenges.

Roger’s greatest fear is not for himself, but for his family—being left without resources, without stability, and without their beloved husband, father, brother, and friend.

This GoFundMe was created as a last resort—something we never imagined having to do. We are asking for your support to help Roger and his family during this difficult time, so they have one less burden to carry.
