**FUNDRAISER ON BEHALF OF ROGER HOOKER**

11/30/2025 Update: In the early hours of Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, Robin passed away peacefully at home with Roger by her side. Though the purpose of this fundraiser has changed, I have kept it active in order to continue supporting Roger during this inexplainably, incredibly difficult time. Donations will go directly to Roger as he navigates laying Robin to rest, as well as life in the absence of his beloved wife. Thank you for your continued support, generosity, and kindness.

Roger (A.K.A. Mudcat), a dear friend of my family and many, is reaching out for help as his wife Robin has stage-4 cancer. Most recently, Robin underwent toe amputations on both of her feet as her cancer has been further spreading throughout her body, and she has been dealing with recurring infections. In addition to frequent hospital trips and doctor visits, Robin’s dog also recently needed a life-saving operation. Roger has been taking care of his wife at home in every way possible, including wound care and administering IV medication. While Roger never sought to be a nurse or doctor in his lifetime, he does a remarkable job as an around-the-clock nurse. His dedication and devotion to Robin are felt and seen by everyone around them.

Robin is currently in the hospital. Roger’s car broke down months ago, and has had to resort to long bicycle rides, Ubers he could not afford, and even walking on foot to get to pick up his wife’s medication or see her when she is hospitalized. All funds will go directly to Roger and Robin Hooker, in order to try and help them through this incredibly unpredictable and difficult time, such as medical expenses for Robin and her dog, transportation for Roger, and just generally helping to take some weight off their shoulders.
