In Loving Memory of Rodrigo Aguilar Borja

On November 25th, 2025, our beloved Rodrigo Aguilar Borja left this world, leaving a void impossible to fill. A father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and an unforgettable presence in the lives of everyone he met, Rodrigo’s passing has deeply shaken our family.

Rodrigo leaves behind three adult children who adored him and seven beautiful grandchildren who were the light of his eyes. He also leaves a large and loving family, including seven siblings who will forever feel the absence of their brother’s laughter, warmth, and unforgettable charm.

To know Rodrigo was to love him. He was the life of the party—the kind of person whose laughter echoed, whose jokes brought people together, and whose smile seemed to shine brighter than the sun itself. Wherever he went, joy followed. He had a gift for turning ordinary moments into memories and a way of making everyone around him feel seen, welcomed, and valued.

If you knew Rodrigo, you knew one thing for certain:

He was a true fanático of Club América. Game days meant passion, excitement, and—of course—lots of yelling at the TV. Win or lose, he watched faithfully, proudly wearing the blue and yellow that ran through his veins. His energy was contagious, and even those who weren’t soccer fans found themselves rooting along with him.

And of course, Rodrigo’s personality wouldn’t be complete without the phrases he said so often they became part of him:

“No pasa nada.”

His reminder to us all that even in hard times, everything is going to be okay.

“Auiui.”

His unique expression that always made the family laugh, a simple sound that somehow held all his personality—playful, expressive, and unmistakably Rodrigo.

During this difficult time, our family is facing unexpected expenses related to Rodrigo’s passing. We want to honor him the way he deserved—with dignity, love, and unity. Any contribution, big or small, will help lift the financial burden and allow us to focus on celebrating his life and comforting one another.
