Shortly after celebrating our 40th high school reunion, our classmate Rodrick Saunders suffered a stroke three weeks later while in Georgia. He was airlifted to the nearest trauma hospital, where he and his wife, LaRhonda—also one of our classmates—spent more than two months, far from their home in California.

In the coming months, Rodrick will continue his rehabilitation in California. While this brings him closer to family, it is still nearly two hours away from home. His recovery journey will be long, so we are launching the second of two GoFundMe's (the first ran in October) that will be open through January 31, 2026.
