Our family is living through a heartbreak that words can barely hold. Early on November 16th, in Tennessee, **25-year-old Rodrell “New New” Jeter and his cousin, 33-year-old Troy Hutchison, were tragically shot and left on the side of the highway** as the killer sped away in the car that held **all of their belongings**. They were on the road to a new beginning — moving their things to Atlanta so they could rebuild their lives and build their futures.

Troy didn’t have children yet, but he was planning to start a family with his girlfriend. He had life insurance, and his expenses are fully covered. **Rodrell did not.**

And now, his young family is left with nothing but heartbreak, responsibility, and an unbearable financial burden.

Loss followed Rodrell from the very beginning.

When he was just **1 years old**, his father — also **25 years old** — was murdered while trying to help another man get back on his feet. His generosity was taken advantage of, and his life was stolen too soon, leaving Candace to raise little Rodrell and his sister alone.
