Support Rodney Winter's Recovery Journey

Update:

Saturday 4pm, 3/15/2025. Rodney's Dr. came in & advised that the game plan is changing. Instead of the drain line they are considering a PICC line or a Tunnel line to administer medicine to the area that is still infected.

This choice is up to Rodney.

We spoke with Rodney's Dr. this am. The results from yesterday's CT scan indicate fluid still present. They plan to adjust a current drain to allow for more flow. The team also plans on inserting an additional drain. This is the plan on Monday. Please continue to pray for Rodney & share GOFUNDME. Rodney is determined to get this behind him!!!

Today we visited Rodney & he is on the mend. His fever is down. They were preparing him for another CT scan. He was drinking the green concoction to see what's going on inside. He is feisty & in rather good spirits given what he's gone through. Please continue to pray for this young man he has so much to do ...so much to live for. He loves all of you!!!

I am Rodney Winter's big sister.

Rodney is at Meriter Methodist Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

This began on February 13th, 2025.

Rodney went in for diverticulosis surgery. Infection from the surgery has been an ongoing battle for Rodney.

We are reaching out for HELP to cover costs not covered by his insurance. Rodney is unable to work, so bills are beginning to accumulate at home. Please find it in your heart to help him out during this unexpected & incredibly difficult time. The Winter family says, "thank you from the bottom of our hearts!"
