Hi everyone,

Our names are Desiree, Abigail, Izabele, and Nevaeh, and we’re fundraising for our dad, Rodney Rodriguez.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when our dad was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, which has now spread to his bladder and kidneys. He’s already endured multiple hospital stays, painful infections, and one surgery — and in the coming weeks, he will begin chemotherapy and radiation. Recently, he was also close to developing sepsis, and his legs and feet became dangerously swollen, making it hard for him to move around. He now has a colostomy bag, which has added another big adjustment to his daily life.

If you know our dad, you know he’s a jokester who can make you laugh even on your worst day, and he has a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved. He’s a man of faith who believes God is with him every step of the way — and we believe that’s where his strength comes from.

We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we do know one thing: our dad is going to fight with everything he has.

We’re asking for support to help cover medical bills, future treatments, basic living costs, and the many expenses that come with this fight. Most importantly, we ask for your prayers and positive thoughts during the biggest battle of his life.
