Last year was full of highs and lows. One of the highs was that I adopted the sweetest black lab puppy, Rocky, who is a constant source of joy. One of the lows was discovering that he has hip dysplasia in both hips and elbow dysplasia in both of his elbows. On February 27th, he will be having a double arthroscopic surgery on both elbows that was estimated at $4,000. It’s very likely he will need a total hip replacement on both of his hips as they start to deteriorate and lose cartilage.

I know times are tough, and with this world of uncertainty, I don’t expect to meet this goal. However, with my 28th birthday coming up on February 1st, I’d like to ask all of you to at least please share this page with anyone and everyone to lessen the financial burden I’ve taken on as part of adopting him.
