Hi, everyone. This is incredibly hard for me to write, but I’m reaching out because my sweet boy, Rocky, needs emergency surgery.

A few days ago, Rocky started vomiting, stopped eating, and became very lethargic. We knew something was wrong, and after taking him to the vet, we received news that he has a foreign object in his stomach and small intestine, and his intestines have become plicated (bunched up), which is extremely serious and life-threatening.

Rocky is 13 years old and has been our baby for the past 12 years. He’s been with us through so many chapters of life. He’s more than just a pet; he’s family.

The total cost of the surgery, hospitalization, and recovery care is expected to be approximately $5,000. It’s a huge and unexpected expense, but we are doing everything we can to give Rocky the chance to keep going. He still has so much love and life in him.
