My sister in law's dog, Rocko, has rapidly become paralyzed in his back legs. He has been treated for what is most likely a intervertebral disk herniation, but he has progressively worsened. He is going to have an MRI, consultation with neurology, and most likely a hemilaminectomy (back surgery to remove extruded disk material).
