Hello everyone!

On 6/23 my cat, Rocko, was hit by a car and took off running and was gone for 4 days. After 4 very long days, sleepless nights and endless searching, he finally made it home. He just came home 6/27 around 10:30pm. His left eye is popped out and his jaw is stuck slightly open. I called the vet and they said he will be okay to come in right away in the morning. They estimated the eye surgery alone to be around $800. That’s not including the hospitalization, the jaw injury, X-rays, tests and any other things he may need.

If you know me, you’d know the last thing I’d ever want to do is ask for help. But in all honesty times are hard and I have no idea how we’re going to afford this. We do have very little saved to go towards the costs but not nearly enough to cover everything.

Rocko fought for 4 days in the heat and storms, just to make it back home to us. We want to be able to give him a chance to live a somewhat normal life after this tragedy. The last thing we want to do is have him euthanized.
