Support Rockland's Return to MMUN

Hi, my name is Rockland, and I'm 10 years old. In March this year, I got to participate in the Model Montessori United Nations (MMUN) in New York City. It was so much fun to learn about how all of the different countries and how they work together to solve big problems like hunger and poverty. I represented The Republic of Honduras and got chosen to share our committee's ideas on stage at the United Nations building! It was amazing to get stand on stage where all of the world leaders stand and speak into the microphone to a crowd of thousands current leaders and our future generation.
Next year, I really want to go back to MMUN because I still have a lot to learn about how the world works so I can learn how I can help make it better. MMUN is about coming up with real solutions to real problems. Last time, I was in the FAO B committee, and we worked hard to come up with ideas to help make sure everyone has enough food and that kids around the world are educated about food waste and its impact.
I am asking for your help so that I am able to return in 2025. The money I raise will help cover the cost of attending MMUN and other things like travel, hotel room and getting to spend time with other kids like me from other states and countries. In addition to this GoFundMe, I have been doing extra chores around my house and also helping my other family and neighbors with their chores so that I can work to raise this money.
My promise to anyone who helps make it possible for me to go back to NYC for MMUN next year is to always work hard and to make the most of this opportunity and the opportunities it will bring in the future.
Being at MMUN makes me feel like I'm a part of making a difference in the world, and that's really important to me. Thank you so much for supporting me.
