Hi, my name is Emelin and I have set up this GoFundMe in order to raise funds for surgery for my 9 month old cat Rocket. He is truly my entire world and is the most fun, playful, sassy, and funny cat that I could ever have. He is loved by everyone in our household always making everyone laugh and brings joy to us every morning and night.

On Monday morning Rocket began to show signs that he was not okay such as not eating, throwing up, and having no energy or strength. On Tuesday morning I took him to the vet where I was unfortunately told that Rocket had swallowed two hair ties which are now stuck causing his small intestine to bunch up and causing abnormal gas to build up. I was told that these are very concerning and life threatening symptoms of a blockage. I was told that there is no way for him to pass these hair ties and he would need surgery or he'll get worse.

I have created this gofundme in order to raise money for the blood work and x-rays before surgery, the surgery itself, and important aftercare to help him recover fully. I would truly appreciate any form of help wether it's a donation or just sharing Rocket's GoFundMe. Thank you for all the support.
