You know Rocket Dog Rescue — when the call comes in, we roll. Late nights crawling through ditches on the side of the highway to get to a terrified dog - out in a field to pick up a filthy crate of starving puppies, or down some dark street in an unknown part of town because we got a call of an animal stuck in the heating vent of an abandoned building— if there’s an animal that needs us, we’re there.

Most days you’ll spot us zipping around town in the trusty Rocket Dog van — picking up donations, dropping off pups at fosters, loading in for another adoption event.

The van- the little force driving what we do on the day to day.

But about three weeks ago, she gave out — conked out

right on a freeway ramp in Oakland, full of dogs. We’re looking at a $9,500 repair bill.

We’ve been making it work (huge thanks to uhaul for the temp wheels) — but we can’t drive a uhaul forever.

We need a new ride — whether it’s fixing our old van or finding a new (used) one —

Please help us keep rolling-

so we can do what Rocket Dog does best: jumping to action to save lives. ♥️
