I have been lucky enough to be part of Rocio Oliveros’ life for the last 8-9 years. I am her friend, her doctor, and her boss. She is one of the most unique and strongest people I know.

On October 5, Rocio was flown from Kern Valley Hospital to UCLA to have life-saving surgery performed. She suffered a stroke during that surgery and has been in the ICU for 2 weeks now. She is fighting hard to be able to come home to us. She cannot speak, she cannot move her left side, and in addition to multiple medical treatments, she also has a tracheostomy.

She and her family need our help. She works so hard to provide care to our patients and provide for her family. I am asking for your generosity in this time of need and positive thoughts for her and her family.
