My name is Rochelle, and I am reaching out for help during one of the most difficult times in my life. I am a domestic violence survivor, and I am actively fleeing a dangerous and abusive situation that has left me and my emotional support dog, Pappa, in a very unsafe environment. Every day is a struggle, but Pappa keeps me going—he drives me crazy sometimes, but he’s all I have, and I love him dearly.
Right now, I am being displaced from my city and urgently need to move to a safer place. My financial situation has made it nearly impossible to cover the costs of moving, and I am worried about our safety every day. I am also facing car issues—my registration has expired, and I need new tires and gas just to get us to a new home. Without these essentials, I can’t make the move or start fresh somewhere safe.
I am a culinary arts management graduate and a certified AutoCAD specialist, and I am willing to work—whether it’s yard work, maid service, or anything else to get back on my feet. I have always cared deeply about my community and want to give back by building better lives and reducing crime in the neighborhood.
It would mean the world to us—we are just barely hanging on, and any support would make a huge difference. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any help you can offer. Your kindness could help us find safety and hope again.
