In February of 2025, just a few months after being laid off from FDC where she worked for over 25 years, Rochelle faced a life-changing diagnosis. She was hospitalized, and doctors discovered a large stage 3 cancer tumor on her kidney and another in her pituitary gland. In March, she underwent major surgery to remove her kidney and the cancerous tumor, followed by another surgery in August to remove the brain tumor. Through all of this, Rochelle has shown incredible strength and resilience, focusing on her healing and maintaining her faith and gratitude despite the challenges.
With unemployment benefits ending, no insurance, and mounting medical bills, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Repeated trips to the Mayo Clinic for treatment and follow-up care have added to the strain. Rochelle has always been a kind and supportive friend, there for me and so many others in times of need. Now, she needs our help more than ever.
Funds raised will go directly toward paying medical bills, catching up on household expenses, and supporting future visits to the Mayo Clinic. If you can afford to, please consider donating. If not, your prayers and sharing this fundraiser are deeply appreciated. Thank you for supporting Rochelle as she continues her journey of healing and rebuilding her life.
