Support Rocco's Fight Against Fanconi Anemia

Dear friends and family near and far,

I am reaching out today to ask for your support for Rocco Legend Henderson, who is currently facing a difficult battle with a rare genetic disorder. Rocco has been diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia. Fanconi Anemia (FA) is a rare, inherited disorder that affects the bone marrow and causes a failure to produce normal blood cells. This is a rare disease, which affects about 1 in 136,000 people worldwide.

To prepare our little warrior for this fight, Rocco will have to endure a week of chemo to kill the cells in his little body. Once chemo is over, Rocco starts another journey by getting a bone marrow transplant. Luckily, getting paired with a generous donor did not take long!

Once the transplant is completed, the next four months Rocco and Pen will be away from home. They will be staying at the Ronald MacDonald house to be close to the hospital and away from anyone who could potentially be sick.

The medical expenses for his fight and treatment will be overwhelming. Despite his parent’s strength, courage, financial burden of the required medicines, and therapies, this is something no one should bear alone.
