My close friend Robyn Roff is a devoted single mom who has always worked hard to provide for her daughter, Lexi. Recently their lives changed in an instant when 17-year-old Lexi was involved in a serious car accident. She suffered multiple back fractures and other injuries, and was rushed to a trauma center in the Twin Cities. After being stabilized, Lexi underwent surgery to repair her spine and was then transferred to the children’s hospital for ongoing care. Throughout this ordeal, Lexi has been in a lot of pain, and Robyn has never left her side.

Because Robyn has been with Lexi since the accident, she has been unable to work. This sudden loss of income is putting a real strain on their finances, especially as Robyn will need to continue caring for Lexi until she is well enough to take care of herself. The road to recovery is still ahead.
