Support Rob's Gobbles Bakery Journey!

Hello! My name is Rob and I have been baking for most of my life, now I'm ready to turn my dreams into my reality by officially starting my very own Queer/Trans owned bakery!

When I was young, my stepmom taught me how to bake on rainy days, to keep me occupied. This turned into a deep love for baking, which was extremely useful when it came to paying for a Gender Affirming surgery in 2020. I baked and baked, until I finally reached my goal in a beautifully life-changing way. This experience only depend my passion for baking, and instilled in me a fierce desire to own my own bakery someday. I can honestly say that baking has saved my life.

For the past few years, I have been creating delicious desserts to share with the world.. making and feeding plenty of new friends along the way. The community I have found through this experience has been unbelievably supportive. Once I realized how much people liked my treats, I began perfecting my craft and baking almost full time. In order for me to create this space that I've dreamed of, to serve delicious treats and uplift my queer community, it's time to grow and time for the bakery to come to life! I envision a cozy, welcoming place.. with fresh baked treats, books to read, friendly faces, art shows, fundraisers, open mic nights! My mind runs wild with all the possibilities for what my business could (and will) be! I have taken on many other part time jobs to help fund the business, which has been helpful but never quite enough.. and also has been burdensome on my personal life and my body. SO, now I am humbly asking for your help!

Start-up costs are never-ending! Getting my LLC, website, and licensing up to date have already taken a toll on my savings.. and I've barely just begun! My ultimate goal is to open my own brick and mortar shop, though for now I am focused on finding the funds for a space to bake/serve out of. Any support from you will be used to help me pay for permits & licenses, equipment, and ultimately for a full cafe/bakery space.
