I am setting up this GoFundMe to raise money to pay Rob's health insurance Cobra payment of $1200 for 3 months at a minimum.

18 months ago, after a horrific car accident due to Rob passing out while driving, Rob was diagnosed with Glioblastoma which is a terminal brain cancer. He underwent surgery to remove as much as they can, but this tumor isn't stopping. He has been responding pretty well to treatments to date but he has now lost his health insurance through the NJ Carpenters Union and although he is on a permanent disability with the state of New Jersey, he has a 24-month waiting period to receive Medicaid. Rob is on lots of medications including very important anti-seizure meds and receives Chemo treatments every two weeks.

Those that know him, know he doesn't complain, won't ask for help and just goes with the flow. If you ask how he is doing, it's always the same..."I'm doing ok". But he needs our help, he just can't afford this additional monthly payment.

I have applied for NJ Family care for him, but until that goes through, he needs to stay on the Union's benefits to continue his treatments and continue to fight this horrible disease for as long as he is able.

I will directly be paying the Cobra payments for him from this fund and should there be any additional funds, they will go directly to Rob to help with any other bills he needs help paying.
