My name is Jen McLachlan and I’m raising funds for my ex-husband and father of my 3 oldest kids, Rob Rainwater. Rob is the father of Allisyn, Devon and Samantha. He is a great person and always willing to help everyone else out. This time he needs our help.

Rob was diagnosed with stage 3b rectal cancer in June 2025. He started his first round of chemo soon after. 12 weeks of chemo in the first round. After that it was discovered that the cancer had spread to his bowel. That led to another 5 1/2 weeks of some of the most aggressive treatment plans that McLaren of Greater Lansing has put together. Rob endured daily oral chemo and radiation that really took a toll on his body. The pain has not subsided leading to surgery on December 30, 2025 to add a lifelong colostomy bag. There are still scans to come to determine if the tumor has shrunk enough to do surgery. Hopefully that surgery will take place in February.

Through all of the treatment Rob has not been able to work. He is an owner/operator truck driver. He did attempt to go back to work after finishing the chemo/radiation, but that led to a hospital visit and the most recent surgery. The monthly bills have continued to come in. Any help that can be given is greatly appreciated. Rob is definitely not one to ask for help, but he needs our help.
