Support Rob’s Family After a Tragic Loss

Our hearts are broken as we share the sudden and tragic loss of Rob, who was struck and killed while out on one of his mountain bike rides—a passion he pursued and loved for more than 30 years.

Rob was an avid cyclist who participated in countless races and endurance events, including Race Across America, Leadville 100, Silver Rush, and many others. Whether he was riding the trails, conquering the Manitou Incline, or capturing beautiful moments through his photography, Rob embraced life with enthusiasm and determination.

But above all else, Rob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Julie, his two daughters, and his precious 11-month-old granddaughter. His loss leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him.

Rob was the kind of person who was always there when someone needed help. Around the house, he was the one fixing things, tackling repairs, maintaining the yard, and taking care of countless tasks that kept daily life running smoothly. His family relied on his strength, support, and willingness to help in every aspect of life.

The challenges facing his family are especially difficult. Julie is currently recovering from recent knee surgery, and the family is now navigating this unimaginable loss while facing the financial burdens that come with it. Rob’s daughter is a single mother raising her young daughter, and his other daughter has special needs and depended greatly on her father’s love, care, and support.

As they mourn the loss of their husband, father, grandfather, and provider, the family is also facing unexpected expenses, including funeral costs, potential legal fees, home maintenance needs, and everyday living expenses.
