Our dear sweet Robin tripped in the RV at night on Friday, Dec 12th, and broke their right kneecap in half. Because work is so hard around here, Robin accepted a full-time job without health benefits and has no insurance. We expect the ambulance and emergency room visit to be around $3,000-$5,000, but the knee requires surgery (either a pin or complete kneecap replacement), which will cost anywhere from $10,000-$70,000. Robin is bed-bound and will not be able to return to work for months because they use their legs and body for work.

Please help Robin and Lakey get through this hard time. Lakey still works but is disabled with two lung diseases and several autoimmune and heart issues.

Anything you can give will be helpful. This is a long, long process and will be close to a year for recovery, including out-of-pocket for PT.
