Help Robin Beat Pancreatic Cancer

Donation protected
Hi, I'm Kelsea, and I'm fundraising for two of the most loving and generous people I know—my dad, Mike, and his partner Robin—who are going through one of the hardest chapters of their lives.

At the end of March, Robin was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. As if that news wasn’t devastating enough, just one week later she and her partner, Mike, were given notice to leave their home of over 10 years - a place filled with love, memories, and community.

They had been dreaming of relocating to a friend’s property, where they would live in a small trailer and gradually build a modest home. But with Robin’s diagnosis, everything changed. The need to relocate became urgent, as their landlord, who is battling terminal cancer, now needs her son to move into the home.

Now, as Robin faces surgery, chemotherapy, and the emotional and physical toll of cancer, they’re also grappling with financial strain and the stress of relocation, all while working to create a comfortable space for her to heal and regain strength.

This will be a tough fight, but we know she is so strong.

They're facing not only the emotional weight of a cancer diagnosis, but also the financial and physical strain of moving without the resources or support they need.

They urgently need help with:
Moving and daily living expenses
Medical costs
Moving into a new, more manageable space, with help from movers, since Robin won’t be able to assist

This support is so Robin can focus fully on healing, and my dad can focus on supporting her. This is a team effort, and they deserve to go through it with less stress and more stability.

Mike and Robin are the kind of people who always show up for others. They met at Burning Man over a decade ago and have spent their lives building community, hosting legendary parties, and making everyone feel welcome. My dad has volunteered for 15 years as a Ranger at Burning Man, quietly protecting and supporting others just because it’s who he is.

Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

This has taken a toll on their mental health and their sense of safety. But I believe we can help ease the burden. Even a little bit helps. Together, we can create a soft landing... an umbrella in the storm.

Every donation lifts a little of the weight. Whether it’s $10 or $100, it becomes part of the safety net they need right now. All funds will go directly toward, relocation, medical expenses, and basic support.

This fundraiser is created by both me and Robin’s son, Joe—we are a family coming together to support our loved ones in the fight of their lives. Thank you for reading, donating, and sharing this. You’re helping more than you know.

With so much love and appreciation,
Kelsea & Joe
