Support Robin Gu's Short Film Street Parking

Hi, I’m Robin Gu, a filmmaker, actor, and musician from Los Angeles with a deep love for storytelling. I set out to make art that exemplifies what it means to be human.

I’m currently raising funds for the production and post-production of my short film, "Street Parking" — a comedy about one man’s desperate, absurd battle to find a parking spot in LA before meeting his girlfriend’s parents. It's a love letter to the absurdity of life in Los Angeles, and an ode to the little things that unravel us.

Earlier this year, I successfully crowdfunded $5,000 through Kickstarter to cover pre-production. This includes casting, location scouting, and crew prep. While that campaign got us off the ground, this GoFundMe is a fundraiser to ensure we can cover the remaining production costs and complete post-production (editing, color, sound, music) at the quality this story deserves.
