Hello everyone, thank you all again so much for the outpouring of prayer, support, and encouragement you’ve shown my parents since this all came to a head on 2/11.

We are so grateful that my mom is now discharged and by my dad’s side, as we know how difficult it has been for both of them to be separated through all of this.

With mom’s six-day hospital stay, and as the days of dad’s hospital admittance go on, our thoughts are naturally turning to the daunting prospect of what the financial impact will be on them. They both have had SO many tests and procedures, and of course, for my dad, those tests and procedures will continue until we see no bacteria present in his system and get him back to healthy.

After a lot of prayer and consideration, we have decided to set up a GoFundMe on their behalf to help with medical expenses related to this ordeal. Please do not feel obligated in any way to contribute to it, but if you do feel so led, we know they would greatly appreciate any help given, no matter the dollar amount.

We really have no idea what the final bill amount will end up being, but we did find a hospital cost estimator online that gave us what we hope is a reasonable guess to start with, and we have used that as our goal here.

Again, thank you for any amount you feel able to give, even if it is just $1. We know that it takes a village, and Robin and Jill are so grateful for you, the village that has formed around them throughout their lives, and through this difficult chapter. God bless!
