Support Robin and Debi After the Fire

Donation protected
In the early morning hours of January 8, 2026, a fire completely destroyed the home of Robin and Debi Mixon. Robin was rushed by ambulance to the emergency room in Harrisonburg and was then flown to the VCU Health Evans-Haynes Burn Center in Richmond for third degree burns. He will be there for at least a month as he will need multiple surgeries. Debi was also taken by ambulance to Harrisonburg and was released on Friday afternoon with minimal second degree burns. Both of their dogs are safe but their cat is still missing. Three vehicles were destroyed as well as a shed with tools. They are thankful for all of the outpouring of concerns and well-wishes. Right now they are in limbo, trying to navigate a new future with many decisions to be made. Many of you have reached out, wanting to help in some way. If you would like to donate a monetary gift, this would be the best way for now. Again, thank you for all of your support as they continue to heal both physically and mentally from this catastrophe.
