Hey friends!

My name is Kristyn (KristynxRose on Twitch) and this GoFundMe is created for a very dear friend of mine Robert (Halloween_Baka on Twitch) to help support them with day to day life expenses and medical expenses as they start their battle against Prostate Cancer. They have been a volunteer moderator, admin, and game developer manager with me over at The Crypt Community since July 2023.

HERE IS THEIR STORY:

Hello my friends,

This year has felt like living through my own personal horror movie. It started with losing my job back in March and, despite my best efforts, I’m still unemployed. Add to that months of health issues, surgeries, and procedures—it’s been a draining ride. I had hoped to spend more time streaming, creating content, and haunting your screens, but honestly, I just haven’t had the strength.

The biggest battle has been with my prostate. After months of tests, I had a biopsy on August 11. Today, I got the results: I’ve been diagnosed with Stage T2c Prostate Cancer. The good news is it’s localized—it hasn’t spread—and my prognosis is favorable. Now, my husband and I face some hard conversations about treatment and side effects as we choose the best path forward.

For now, I’ll be taking more time to process this and focus on my health, family, and friends. I’ll still be around in Discord to hang with you and in your streams when I can, but streaming myself will likely wait until September. Spooky season is coming, so I’d love to return by then—but we’ll see how things unfold.

On top of that, six months without work means we’re nearing the end of our savings. This diagnosis adds even more weight to the job search, and there may be some difficult challenges ahead. We’ll take it one day at a time.

I miss you all deeply, and I’m so grateful for my stream teams—CEOs of Screams and The Crypt—and for every bit of love and support I’ve received this year from them and all of you. You are all amazing.
